Balto-slavic drift can fully be removed with Baltic_LVA_BA. But Baltic_LVA_Meso can't. Between today and the 2 samples there is respectively 3000y and 6000y, bronze age VS mesolithic. Do you think 4000y really are causing the BSD ? Or is there any hidden population we don't know ?

U5b2 coming from Spain and U4 and r1b from Siberia for the mesolithic population. Probably first mixing with some Siberian population

Maybe adding still some unknown ancient Siberian population would remove the Baltic drift. You can see the new mtdnas from east mixing into the older U5 euro clades creating the first Baltic Meso populations. If you can find the right Siberian sample of that migration you might have luck

what is the Balto-Slavic drift? from what did it deviate? aren't Balts just WHG + EHG + PIE + some EEF?
