@RogueState: unfortunately, the ONS hasn't released stats on country of birth by occupation group. However, they have released stats regarding country of birth by highest qualifications. I shan't reproduce all the stats, just highlight the percentages with either no qualifications or university degrees - the two 'extremes'. All the same, it should be borne in mind that it includes all adults, whether or not they are in the workforce, including some who may be asylum-seekers, especially from Africa and the Middle East, who wouldn't be entitled to work anyway, regardless of their qualifications. Furthermore, it also includes retired people, who tend to be less well-educated/qualified than people in younger age groups. (This is particularly true of the Irish, where there is a big discrepancy between the overwhelmingly working-class older generations, and the newer immigrants who are usually much better-educated).
All usual residents aged 16 and over - country of birth
TOTAL = No qualifications 18.18%, University degrees 33.8%
Europe = No qualifications 17.87%, University degrees 32.3%
Europe: United Kingdom = No qualifications 17.68%, University degrees 31.43%
Europe: Irish Republic = No qualifications 29.09%, University degrees 35.93%
Europe: Other Europe = No qualifications 18.94%, University degrees 41.82%
Africa = No qualifications 14.48%, University degrees 48.59%
Middle East and Asia = No qualifications 25.31%, University degrees 42.33%
The Americas and the Caribbean = No qualifications 16.46%, University degrees 48.79%
Antarctica and Oceania (including Australasia) = No qualifications 6.64%, University degrees 60.79%

N.B. Social grade was measured in the 2021 Census based on the head of the household. Therefore, this excludes the majority of women, adult children and people living in communal accommodation such as care homes, hotels, student halls of residences, prisons etc.
