These two refs don't really make sense:
Distance to: Middle_East
0.02666982 Samaritan
0.03873054 Karaite_Iraq
0.03974876 Lebanese_Christian
0.04640117 Karaite_Egypt
0.04735529 Lebanese_Druze
Distance to: SW_Asia
0.00000000 Turkish_Deliorman
0.02739552 Turkish_Rumeli
0.03590545 Gagauz
0.04084559 Bulgarian
0.04323461 Greek_East_Macedonia_and_Thrace
Why does Turkish have its own unaveraged reference (I would understand some kind of Turkic but that would be a rework of some other categories) and why is the Middle East ref just Levantine/Jewish? It's a bit odd because when you put something that should be close to whatever ref it is a part of (like, it's the first thing you think of), you get this:
Distance to: Saudi
0.09397560 Middle_East
0.15401421 Mediterranean_Islands
0.15863673 North_Africa
0.19919168 South_Europe
0.20126707 SW_Asia
0.25412198 Central_Europe
0.27235047 North_Europe
0.27403845 East_Europe
0.30251266 CHG
0.30320500 Central_Asia
Or even like Iranian, comes out like this:
Distance to: Iranian
0.12827549 Middle_East
0.13211295 Mediterranean_Islands
0.13238258 SW_Asia
0.16886615 CHG
0.17186937 South_Europe
0.19607362 Central_Europe
0.20907578 Central_Asia
0.20990424 North_Africa
0.21111176 North_Europe
0.21249391 East_Europe
It's a really weird system.

Also, if you're using all modern references and some of the reference have CHG, WHG as their components, I don't think it is necessarily to put in time-period-inappropriate references for them by themselves. That doesn't really tell the same information as the rest of the calculator.

Both Middle_East and SW_Asia are updated. Both have been averaged to some better degree.
Both were labeled in my files as such and I thought they plotted out appropriately on the PCA.
As I mentioned, it might need a little tweaking, so I'm tweaking for ya.![]()
