The plantain is not as sweet and is often larger and more fibrous than the banana, but they are otherwise very similar.
The plantain is a culinary vegetable, but both the plantain and banana are biological fruit.
I like to bake and cook with plantains when in warm or tropical climates.

I will be adding purple passionfruit and yellow dragonfruit to the roster! I also want to try a fruit I heard about I think it's an African prickly pear.
=(^.^)=
Also I don't do classifications currently, sorry.

I love plantains!
Has anyone tried durian? I've never tried it, but have heard from friends abroad that it tastes amazing. I am wondering how people get past the smell though.

I grow Himalayan Honeysuckle in my garden. It has beautiful blooms with berries that are edible. They are also known as chocolate berries. They taste more like toffee or caramel though.
Here they are. Pics from last summer... they ripen in August.

In fact, in the Spanish language, enjoy "disfrutar" is related to fruit.
I like the traditional fruit or fruit that we know from the Roman Empire to the Muslim era to the discovery of America, now when I try an exotic fruit that I do not know has never quite seduced me, except for some new hybrid of traditional fruits at least in my country, so I stay with the usual.
Disfrutar (Enjoy), on the other hand, is a lexical creation from Low Latin, formed with the noun root FRUCTUS 'fruit' and a prefix of ablative sense, either EX- (EXFRUCTARE), or DE- (DEFRUTARE), meaning 'to take the fruit out of something'.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.
