Please show examples of European groups which are more southerly than the other groups. This has to take into account the ratio of blonde and red hair as well as blue or green or gray eyes. I know Europe pretty well and I have not seen any yet. Please one more time, let’s be civil, there is no time for trolling and imbecility. People have the right to disagree, it’s O.K.
I tried with Wales (N.W. Europe) and Estonia (N.E. Europe). Estonia is more blonde-haired (>45%) compared to Wales (>20%), but Wales is more red-haired (>10%) than Estonia (<3%). Both populations are predominantly (60%+) light - eyed, with Estonia more light-eyed (+ 85%) than Wales (+75%).

Septentrion is asking for examples of more southern groups with lighter hair, lighter eyes, and more rufosity combined. Not just for those features singularly. Sámi people are the obvious example. The far northern Scandinavians have darker hair, eyes, and less rufosity than further south. Both Linders & Lundborg and Retzius & Fürst found Swedes from Götaland the blondest and most red-haired, then Svealand, and darkest/least rufous in Norrland. Linders & Lundborg found 76.4% light eyes lowest of all surveyed counties among recruits from Norrbotten likely due to Sámi admixture.

For example he writes <3% red hair in Estonia which may be based on an amateur map that put most of Estonia in the 2-4% bracket. According to the Juhan Aul study of 15,110 Estonian soldiers only about 1% of recruit age Estonian males are Fischer-Saller reds I-VI. Given that study he writes <3% likely because he is not referring to specific studies. On the other hand Septentrion is quite accurate with >45% blond for Estonians according to that same study which found 49.4% Fischer-Saller fair A-O, so maybe my suspicions are wrong and he has seen that study.
