This perception of Ottoman armies like armies of Sauron is great ignorance. Ottomans had had equal to Balkanites, if not more, internal struggles since their founding.

I don't think they're real, I know they are real. Different folks tend to have different character and I don't believe these differences are entirely down to DNA. I don't find the Hungarian character special. Hungarian people's character is similar to that of other ethnicities in the region (central europe / eastern europe / balkans) and to a lesser extent other Europeans + people of European descent.

Why would Balkan countries be "united"? You are not one same people to get divided. Historically neighboring countries are always the biggest rivals with own interests in same region.
