The patterns are often counter intuitive because we assume, more people in numbers within a population are going to result in more admixture but it never works like that, especially it seems when there is a racial bias. Bigger communities also tend to revert back naturally to their own inner circles, while they assimilate more in smaller scattered groups. It's not that surprising the south would have less Euro admixture, we ve just heard more stories from back there as they resonated with the situation of the time.

It's the origin of the Mulatto in America and was much more common than Planters mixing with their slaves. These mulattoes mixed into the general black population. The rest of the mixture is mostly from what you described in the post above the one I'm replying to.

What is the percentage of African-Americans with European daddy Y? It's about a third of their population. There is no way that a small population of mixed-race slaves from the mid 17th century had such an impact on the AA population, considering they were swamped by African input in the 18th century.
Most of those early Black slaves were men.

Indentured servant was just a polite way of saying slave. Not only the Irish but English and Scots also. They where promised land after they did their time but most never received any and a huge percentage died, any small rule infraction would add time to your so called contract.
Vikings and Turks traded in slavery with mainly Slavic people they captured. North Africans raided mostly Med countries but went as far as Iceland to capture entire villages.
I can't talk about European schools but they never mention any of this in schools here.

Just because slavery is illegal in the US doesn't mean it doesn't exist. An American policeman told me that there were an estimated 50 000 sex slaves in the US, and including all who had been captured illegally, that added up to a total of 400 000 slaves.
And according to the 13th amendment, prison labor is regarded as legal slavery.

Human trafficking is not something legal, that is why it is done clandestinely, and unfortunately there is a lot of hidden mafia that makes money from it.
That depends on the prisons, some are more so than others, but that is a way for the inmates to contribute something to society.
