Here's Gary McKinnon.

... and here's Gary McKinnon's parents. There's a pretty noticeable disconnect, Gary Mckinnon is noticeably more robust and eastern looking than either of his parents, in fact, he's more robust than most people, top .1% even, cheekbones and orbitals like that are not something you see every day. Why?

A similar case; here's Kelly Mittendorf, a fashion model.

... and here's her parents. Again, similar thing, though there is definitely a noticeable Ladogan influence with her father.
I've also seen similar phenomenon in other cases, but these are the best examples.
I've broken down the remarkable features they have:
- High, compact cheekbones
- Widely spaced, compact orbitals
- Pronounced and low-set supraorbital ridge
- Long palpebral fissure length
- Long and sharp medial canthus
- Short-ish midface
- Low set, high tilted eyebrows, straight in shape (minimal arch)
- High facial depth, forward upper maxilla
- Midface appears "upwards" relative to the average
- Square-ish jaw and face
- High-set ears (high set temporal bone?)
Why? Is it just genetics? I am thinking of it possibly being something environmental, such as high prenatal testosterone (which is correlated with autism, which McKinnon has), or some kind of abnormality regarding bone growth. It just seems very specific. I am certainly not a biologist though, just a shot in the dark.
In the case of Kelly Mittendorf, she looks noticeably different from her siblings, McKinnon AFAIK has none.
