No, not at all. 1 Grandparent from the Black Forest Region...3 Westphalia / Ruhr Area.
I made a "map". Actually i was working on a heatmap...but i failed^^

I am from Hungary. I am half Hungarian half Slovak actually, I am proud of my Slovak ancestry but most of the time I just say I am Hungarian for practical purposes. My Slovak ancestry is from Hungary, not from Slovakia so my case is special.

I think some people exaggerate the diversity of Hungarians, yes you can find various looks amoung us, but I'd say 80-90% of Hungarians have a Hungarian look, the rest may deviate in one direction or another. I'd describe Hungarians as "central-slavic" ethnicity that is racially in between Slovaks/Czechs and Croats/Bosniaks/Serbs + some Romanian/Bulgarian influence is there too.

From my impressions, i would say the most prominent phenotype had way less "sharp" slavic features than most of the Polish / Russian Aussiedler or even some Croatians i saw in Germany. Like 80% Halstatt with just a little bit edgier features here and there. Slightly longer face and narrow jaw...just 1-2 slightly more sharper lines than CEU, but medium blonde and hazel eyed. That Type made about ~40%...same type with darker hair maybe 10-15%. Tataric + Turkic type: 15%. Typical Central European: 20-22%. Very Nordish Type 1-3%, Southern European 10-12%.

I also recognized that much people had either German first or surnames, people used German and Asutrian leanwords, and ofc Névnap is more important than birthday^^
But my impressions are limited to: Balatonfüred, Balatonszőlős, Tihany region and little bit Igal and Sopron. I didn't remember Budapest very well...i was shocked.

My recent ancestors are from Bács-kiskun and Békés.
German ancestry is found in western parts of the country and Budapest mostly, there is less german dna in eastern part.

I know the old farmer guys and locals called servus for either hello and also goodbye. Also they used egal for "it is the same". But the actual usage is more like "i don't care / it makes no difference"

I saw trick scammers and robbers, much dirt and poverty alleys pretty much next to luxus, high society buildings. And some little children with chopped off fingers so they are more effient baggers.
