Default HUMANITAS - New DNA Test

    Hi

I found some interesting DNA company - Humanitas

They have a Humanitas group on Facebook, and from what I can see, many people praise their effectiveness, especially when it comes to distant ancestry. In this aspect, they seem to be even better than the big companies.

For me, the results are accurate—mainly Polish, with a known German admixture (although the percentage seems a bit too high in my opinion). Russia also appears, which isn't surprising—my grandfather's family are Poles but lived partly in areas close to Russia, which was Poland at the time.

I am curious if anyone here also has such a report.

i have a friend from northwest iberia and any modern calc , individual or averages he get always same result with his official coords and also K36 coords , K13 , doesn't matter what model is always almost same result but with pca from humanitas he got almost 100% northwest iberia and he didn't say anything about him to them , that was really amazing

here a example when use his coords with modern averages he get always results like that , but with humanitas he got almost 100% northwest iberia , i don't know how it was possible , i also don't know much about this company but this result from him was really amazing

They use simply new method, which seems to be very accurate, K18 I think.

    Pretty accurate results overall.
Tunisia had ottoman rule which explains the turkish, albanian, greek, etc. I have scored sicilian on 23andme and it makes sense as I come from the north coast of Tunisia. I do think my middle eastern is reduced in favor of the north african (compared to 23andme and illustrativedna) but in terms of modern ancestry I don't think it's too wrong.

    MENA
79.8% North African (Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan)
    5.6% Levantine (Palestinian, Jordanian)
    0.8% Peninsular Arab
    0.6% Turkish (Adalia)

    Europe
    7.4% Italian (Sicily)
    3.8% Greek (Ionian Islands, Cyclades)
    0.8% Albanian
    0.4% Portuguese (Algarve)

    Africa
    0.8% Malian (Fulani)
