The weirdest food I have eaten was octopus when I was in Sardinia, because I had no other alternatives (since I'm Muslim) during a business trip, but it ended to be quite ok, like any other sea food

I had octopus and shrimp when I was 12 when I was a guest at someone's house but I got very sick afterwards so I never touched it again.
My stepmother pressured me to try her deviled eggs and sushi when I was 21. I spit both out.
I'm not adventurous when it comes to food.

I ate chocolate-covered ants and grasshoppers in sixth grade when we tried exotic foods in class. They were just like honeycombs, but the crunch was off-putting.

Gator tail. I tried it multiple times, hoping it would be better than the last time. But nope. It's gamey and muddy tasting as hell.

I never ate anything weird, well, I ate frog legs and animal brains, something I don't eat often, but I can't say it's something weird. I eat seafood lots of times per year so I can't say some octopus or similar is exotic for me. Also, I eat horse and deer meat, may be weird for some people, too.
