For the first time in my life I agree with you. Men cannot seriously marry models and women with bolted on tits and expect them to be down to earth women who are in it for love. If you marry a materialistic bimbo and she uses you for money, that only happened because two stupid and bad people got married. It's not exactly hard to tell which women will do this. Lol

It's not what I want but being realistic: women are genetically predisposed to be provided with goods by men (now simplified by money). You can't erase 30k years of humankind history in just 1 century of rights, bills and lobbies.

I feel like people need to stop acting like it's a black and white issue. My husband wouldn't have married me if he thought I was ugly or fat, and I wouldn't have married him if he couldn't provide a basic standard of living for me and our children. That does not mean we don't love each other or that we have some sort of unreasonably materialistic and shallow expectations of each other. It becomes unreasonable when the man's idea of beauty is a supermodel or the woman's idea of financial stability is a millionaire. But to be attracted to your partner and to feel secure bringing children into the world with them is the bare minimum of what every relationship requires.

But of course, people on the internet will continue to use crazy examples of degen rich men marrying degen models as if this represented the average Joe and Jane at all. Even though those people only really represent reasonable human tendencies taken to the most immoral and unreasonable degree.

Who denied this? Some people in this topic claimed that if a woman expects the man to provide, then she doesn't love him. I don't agree with that, because people used to live like this. I agree with it. I have seen example of women providing for their dead beat boyfriend in real life. If a women is truly in love. Then she expect nothing. And would tolerate anything.

It is not a tradition for a woman to be a housewife, in most cases there is a low number of job offers in the region. What I know about Africa countries is that they are conservative and traditional for marriage
