What is the weirdest food you've ever eaten?

I couldn't really remember what the weirdest thing I ever ate was until your comment - strangely enough it was also in sixth grade for me. Some boy's family went on vacation to Mexico and he brought that back as some crazy exotic novelty. I tried one and I now know that bugs (including sea bugs) are not my thing, lol.

You should tell that to Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, Greta Thunberg, and the rest of those weirdos. They want us to eat crickets and be happy, and Gates might even wash them down with poop juice (he allegedly drinks it).

Interesting, shark (called Flake) is the most popular fish served at fish and chips shops here. I must have had it 100+ times.

Was gonna say I've never eaten anything I'd consider particularly weird, nothing that can't be bought at regular stores here. I did make a friend eat playdough for $2 once.

The most unusual food I have eaten is roasted huhu grub. We were taught bushcraft at various boys groups growing up and this is NZ bush food. It was good.

Does shark have many bones? I like fish and seafood but i eat only certain type of products from the stores where i know by experience its really a filet and clear of any bones because often even if it says filet some bones or a few can be still in the fish

Sharks don't have bones. Their skeleton is cartilage. You still fillet the flesh from this. This particular shark species are small and tasty. Deep fried in batter, salt and a squeeze of lemon.

I love tongue. Ox or sheep. Usually corned and broiled. I mentioned this once before, that I used to chop the large tip off and chase the kids around the house with it poking out my mouth. Then we all sat down for a feed.

Yes I've eaten shark and many exotic fish and mollusks, especially in Japan, but their taste was not memorable.

I eat octopus and squid often in coastal areas, these are not weird for me. Also clams and mussels.

The "weirdest" thing that I eat, rarely, are fresh raw oysters, which are still alive. But you cannot tell that they are alive.
