Interesting, shark (called Flake) is the most popular fish served at fish and chips shops here. I must have had it 100+ times.

Was gonna say I've never eaten anything I'd consider particularly weird, nothing that can't be bought at regular stores here. I did make a friend eat playdough for $2 once.
Spoiler!

We eat Rig shark. It is called lemon fish at the fish and chip shop. Very tasty, especially in batter.
I ate playdough as a child. I learnt quickly it was for play only as have my grand daughters
The most unusual food I have eaten is roasted huhu grub. We were taught bushcraft at various boys groups growing up and this is NZ bush food. It was good.

Unfortunately, my big dream will never come true. I would really like to go to Nashville, On the Greyhound bus through the USA. I want to see all the big stars Which I always saw in pictures. Then we go to the Grand Ole Opry. To Ernest Tubb and Dicky Lee. I would really like to go to Nashville, Nashville Tennessee. Morti's American Dream

I don't know is this weird, but I will try: black risotto (risotto with squid ink), beef tounge, gorgonzola, pork greaves, octopus, squid, carpaccio...

Yes I've eaten shark and many exotic fish and mollusks, especially in Japan, but their taste was not memorable.
I eat octopus and squid often in coastal areas, these are not weird for me. Also clams and mussels.
The "weirdest" thing that I eat, rarely, are fresh raw oysters, which are still alive. But you cannot tell that they are alive.
