My friend and his wife will visit Kenya for about a week in the autumn and he suggested me to go with them, I won't be visiting her relatives of course, but they will make a safe program for me and also he can advise if I decide to date anyone while there, like is she legit or a scammer, if I manage to gather enough information.

I always found that ironic: the standards Europe have to allow aliens, it seems the shittier you are increase your chances to get accepted lol it really makes me think the authorities want to destroy Europe from within I can't find any other explanation.

Story time: Since I was on my teens, I always tried to find a way to move to Germany since my grandma was german, so I assumed I could have some benefit (such as scholarship, student visa, residence, whatever...) but NO it seems I got no rights or options since my ancestor was female... Schengen visa rejection rates are high for Africans - between 20 and 40% in most western countries. Bulgaria is new to Schengen visa issuing so no statistics there but for reference Greek embassy in Nairobi had lower rejection rate than western embassies, below 10%.

Even internal African flights are expensive, like Nairobi to Johannesburg. The cheapest option was with a transfer from Kigali.

Not true: LATAM and South African Airways both fly Sao Paulo-Johannesburg; Ethiopian Airlines fly Sao Paulo-Addis Ababa; TAAG Angolan Airlines fly from SP and RJ to Luanda.
