They look like people from Colombian Llanos, but with a slighty higher SSA admixture.

Thanks god! finally somebody says something! Alleluia!
How similar do you think Apure is compared to Portuguesa and Barinas?
Any other Colombian region it could be compared to? Like some Colombian department with slightly more SSA admixture than the Colombian llanos? Cesar, perhaps?

Portuguesa and Barinas look mestizoid also, but with some additional Euro admixture.
Colombian Llanos must had a similar admixture back in colonial times, but migration from highlands reduced SSA admixture.
Southern Cesar and Magdalena Medio area have a similar ethnic profile.Any other Colombian region it could be compared to? Like some Colombian department with slightly more SSA admixture than the Colombian llanos? Cesar, perhaps?

Thanks for the response.
Yes, I also have the impression that Portuguesa and Barinas have some slightly higher European admixture than Apure. Not by a dramatic difference, but yet.
Then, you think that southern Cesar and Magdalena medio are similar to Apure in their overall Euro/Amerindia/SSA admixture?
Barrancabermeja (Santander) would be a good example of a city located in Magdalena medio, right?

Agree. Venezuelan Llanos look homogeneous.
A friend from Arauca said me Venezuelan Llanos are more "authentic" than Colombiano Llanos, because they preserved their colonial stock.
Yes, Barrancabermeja is the main city in Magdalena Medio (for years they have been looking for a new department in that region). Then, you think that southern Cesar and Magdalena medio are similar to Apure in their overall Euro/Amerindia/SSA admixture?

In general, Magdalena Medio and southern Cesar are transsitional between Andean and Caribbean region, so they tend to be tri racial mestizoids, similar to Venezuelan Llaneros.
Northern Cesar and southeast Guajira are also mestizo shifted, but they seems to have some more SSA admixture.
