BS. Eastern European Germans are often mixed. Ion Basescul back in the day posted gedmatch results of self identified Germans from Romania ("Transylvanian Saxons") and some of them were over 50% Romanian genetically. I'm not sure if Hansi Müller is fully German genetically, there's a probability that he is mixed.

I see it the same way. I really would like to see more Gedmatch and also primary test results from similar persons.
I can tell that much of the "Aussiedler" who claim to be German have very slavic and "eastern" features. In Gedmachts they often show signifficantly higher levels of Eastern Europe or even Uralic, Ugric, Siberian and East Asian components. So surely there was intermixing at some point.
I think it is almost certainly proven that there was a high level of genetically and culturally intermixing between German groups and local people in Western Hungaria, Czechia and Lithuania f.e.
But i can't really tell about the Donauschwaben. I can't determine it from the features, nor from the surnames that they did not spread, or let's say not spread in the same amount like in other regions. The only thing i can conclude is that they seem to be darker in average. But that could be explained by the fact that the Donauschwaben were exclusively South German groups and also partially Italian, French and other settlers in between.

If he is a danube svabian from serbia i think he is mixed not full german he stretches the definition of a german look might be interesting to see his DNA test

Muller on the other hand looks more MENA than Southern European. Never mind German.

Some of the German users on here mentioned that many of them who arrived in the late 90s weren't actually German or had just one German grandparent. Supposedly it was a chance for many to escape poverty in Russia in the late 90s by claiming German ancestry.
