- It is quite interesting to compare us two. We are like the opposite of each other on the two main British components. The recent Irish in me is doing this, I suppose, while Graham has perhaps more Anglo-Norse than might be expected.
More curious is the different trace components. I have no Middle Eastern or Med, and he has no South Baltic to compare with my little chunk.
Polako does this to get at the ancient prehistoric migrations, and has tentatively identified the South Baltic ingredient as a Mesolithic pre-farming one. That a more Irish Briton has more of this than a more Easterly based Briton makes good sense.![]()
