Surname Putun exist among Serbs from Banat. Serbs from Banat are heavy E-V13, because of their deeper roots from Kosovo and SE Serbia. Migrations of Serbs to Russia were not all recorded, there was tons of small and individual before or much before bigger one from 1751. when Serbs settled in Dombas and central Ukraine.

Personally, I consider r1a, r1b, and q to be the cooler Y-DNAs.

Roman soldiers from the Balkans spreaded E-V13 in other parts of empire. On that way E-V13 arrived to UK probably. This does not refer to Russia which is far away from former Roman empire.

I wasn't targeting you or anyone with E-V13. This is a forum where people come to voice their opinions or rant I personally place more value on Y-DNA than autosomal DNA. 'Be proud if you're R1b, obey if you're not'. 'R1b is masterrace' were my favorite slogans.
