So would you too confirm the opinion Pomaks are genetically Bulgarian, no matter where they live? I've compared all my Bulgarian samples and they come up as the top match, all of them. Interesting how they managed to preserve the "clearest" Bulgarian DNA. Maybe because of religion? But then, one would assume they would intermix with Turks and other Muslim population, which they seemingly didn't do...
