My DNA Origin analysis for 16 EUR (you get 2 reports examining ancestry from 3012 regions, 226 countries): https://www.exploreyourdna.com/DNAOrigin.aspx

This analysis is not based on G25 but on ADMIXTURE. And it has more regions than any other DNA test!

I believe that substantial changes could have occurred since the period of Slavic expansion, and that a significant proportion of these results may reflect later population movements rather than the initial expansion itself. Consequently, some of the observed genetic signals may be better explained by post-expansion demographic processes, including secondary migrations, admixture events, and regional population restructuring.

Phenotypes don't equal genes. Local phenotypes form because of shared ancestors, but the genes of the ancestors can become quite diluted over time.

Absolutely, there are always people who look different from their genes.

I have people in my family who could pass as Northern Europeans but are genetically more southern-shifted than 90% of Europe.

Would there be any similarities of the South-western Ukranians with the Bulgarians/Gagauz, as there are plenty living there?
