    Default Haplogroup Explorer

    I don't know if you already know this tool from ExploreYourDNA, HaplogroupExplorer:

    https://www.exploreyourdna.com/Tools/HaplogroupExplorer

    Before searching it is best to check what is the long name of your terminal SNP here:

    https://isogg.org/tree/

    Then you can check the distribution of your haplogroup in ancient populations there.

    My father's father's Y - https://www.exploreyourdna.com/Tools...2a2a&type=ydna

    My mother's father's Y - https://www.exploreyourdna.com/Tools...1c1h&type=ydna

    =====

    Edit:

    For comparison these are FTDNA reports for my Y-DNA haplogroups:

    My DNA Origin analysis for 16 EUR (you get 2 reports examining ancestry from 3012 regions, 226 countries): https://www.exploreyourdna.com/DNAOrigin.aspx

    This analysis is not based on G25 but on ADMIXTURE. And it has more regions than any other DNA test!

    When it comes to NEO92 it is controversial if he was really R-L617:

    https://genarchivist.net/showthread....57556#pid57556

    "NEO092/NEO92 is R-L23 according to FTDNA Discover where it is listed as Barhøj 92 at https://discover.familytreedna.com/y-dna/R-L23/classic and shown as NEO92 in the details so R-L617 was not accepted as a valid mutation by FTDNA."

    Please help me. My paternal relative got FTDNA tested as I-Y3548. How is it converted in it’s official name? To do the test.
