My Mom has an account there too with more historical relatives.

I don't know how to merge our trees.

My Mom has many more historical relatives in Family Search. I logged into her account and did a small screenshot of the start of her list.

I managed to merge my tree of my paternal line with my Mom's tree on Family Search. I have many more famous relatives now.

I'll post the first 12 Leaders.






Marilyn Monroe was my 9th Cousin. We both descend from Richard Tydings & Charity Sparrow.






Charles Lindbergh was my 12th Cousin Once Removed.





Gordie Howe, famous hockey player, was my 7th Cousin Twice Removed.

When did your most recent Scottish ancestor immigrate or settle in the US?

When did your most recent Scottish ancestor immigrate or settle in the US?

My most recent was from Northern Ireland in 1874 or 1875 but my connection to Alexander Graham Bell is through an English line that has some Scottish lines further back. The common ancestor is Sir George Leslie 4th Earl of Rothes (1485-1558).

I found out from familysearch.org that I'm a direct descendant of Oliver Cromwell. He is my 11th Great Grandfather.

Lucille Ball is my 10th Cousin 3 times removed. She descends from his sister, Frances Cromwell.
