    it's probably me.
But just to spoil the fun, EHG component in europe is usually waaay overestimated. G25 and GEDMatch calculators are at fault for this. They take drift associated with modern northern europeans and labeled it shit like "Baltic" or "Baltic Hunter Gatherer" in some of the calcs out there. G25 uses some modern and bronze age ethnicities as anchors which inflates the EHG for everyone who is close to that anchor. Basically imagine this. EHG affinity to Baltic BA is 0.05. Your affinity to Baltic BA is also 0.05. So on this one coord you are basically identical to EHG! This leads to lower distances to EHG and higher EHG in models. EHG is inflated for ALL european groups in G25.
So returning to me. Yes, my EHG is probably the highest on this forum. But in reality, it is only 21%. Not 50-60-70 or whatever number G25tards think russians should have.

Just ran a AT1 model on myself for mesolithic/neolithic groups. This it the upper range of EHG for europeans.

    Where does Yamnaya peak?

Some people on Twitter claim that it actually does not peak in Eastern Europe because excess EHG in Eastern Europeans cause misinterpretation. This is also the case with North Caucasians. They already have high CHG and when you add some EHG to it, their DNA mimic Yamnaya.

Let me drop the truth bomb: EHG label is fraud. EHG is 3/4 ANE and 1/4 WHG. They are essentially Ancient North Eurasians.

I think QAPDM overestimates ZNF and Iran too much. What's your take on this?

it is believed that Estonians have highest EHG component alongside Latvians, Finns, Lithuanians and Russians amongst Europeans, I will definitely lean towards Andrei's theory, since Eastern Europe is a birthplace of EHG and Eastern Europeans have highest this very component. I miss Leto, he would also explain this matter.

WHG peaks at Baltics, but EHG peaks at Uralic ethnicities iirc.

I wish there were some Udmurt, Mari, Mordva, Komi or Chuvash forum members who already had test results, they would show highest output. Concerning EHG in Estonians I just confused it with WHG, yes they have WHG > EHG.
