    I just can’t justify re-buying a 23andMe kit to get the latest updates. The security concerns don’t help even if there’s some thinly veiled new measure.

    I did 23andMe last year and just sent off my ancestry dna test a few days ago, mainly to get a file with better SNP coverage. I’ve heard 23andMe is better for ethnicity estimates certainly after the most recent update but they test less SNPs.
