It's pretty obvious she isn't interested. If you think it's worth it, you can still pursue, but if she isn't the woman of your dreams, I'd move on.

No, no won't pursue. I follow up on the suggestion once, take a hint, and move on. Repeatedly askin' the same person I'd consider a form of harassment.

I just find the behavior sub par even if it was not done with outright intention a person must still be mindful of the words they choose to say.

If you mean people size each other up immediately, yes, both genders do.

I mean what I said, which is that women know if they're willing to sleep with a man very shortly after meeting him. I'd suggest the book "Love at First Sight", but Suzy Malin, but basically studies have shown women can evaluate whether they are genetically compatible with a man through his facial features, the sound of his voice, his mannerisms, way of speaking, and even his smell.

Has anyone encountered a situation where a female would state "we should get together soon" then shows no interest in following through on the suggestion?

Loads of times,but i can imagine why.....probably due to me being blind drunk and barely able to stand up at the time.........understandable.

Its when they phone you and ask you to babysit as they have a date when you should start to worry.

just sound like she just making casual conversation or something. i do it all the time to friends and people that i really have no intention with hanging out with though. just my humble opinion.
