I always felt the "Karen" meme was anti white and a direct jab at White people. It's usually aimed at middle aged white females with teenaged children , but sometimes just any White woman in general who is perceived as being nosy or bossy, when there are different circumstances gets called this .
For example, when some lady was upset because people were blocking a side walk. Well, it was indeed a problem because people need to use the sidewalk to avoid traffic. And then in other cases, when these black girls were selling water in an apartment complex. What those "innocent" black girls were doing was illegal. It was actually soliciting. Some times these "Karens" are just at the wrong place at the wrong time. When you see some big black guy with bad clothes aimlessly walking around, what else would you do? Who wouldn't want to call the police?
If someone is against vaccines they get called "Karens" or if they don't believe in mask mandates or think that the Government is indeed acting in overreach and violating the constitution they get called "Karens". Anyone who doesn't comply or conform with liberalism gets called a Karen. When many "Karens" are probably liberals anyway.
I'm also surprised feminists haven't chimed in yet, because it's also making fun of women. The whole thing seems to stem from a jealousy of upper middle class white females.
