I changed my mind about Ukrainian refugees

i remember our elderly people told the story how the ukrainians massively migrated to the caucasus during the holodomor, there is a sad story to tell how young ukrainian couples being extremely hungry and exhausted survived and appeared in an open air market place somewhere in a village (eventually they were fully accepted in a local family, it's quite a long to write).. i sincerely feel sorry for those who lost everything and it was urgent to escape from a war-torn place but not those opportunists.. those opportunists are everywhere among every ethnic groups

Attitudes changes when their wallets are affected. I paid $66 in gas today. How many Americans who were gung-ho about sanctioning Russia are now thinking differently? In Europe, the situation is obviously far worse in that you also have to take care of Ukrainian refugees. How long before people admit to themselves this isn't sustainable?
