I have respect to Lithuania and I'm glad they want to save their culture from influence of another cultures, but after existing as one country with Poland for over 200 years the influence is big and we can't turn it back. Their aristocracy also got polonised in many cases. Overall I don't really see sense in this action. It is impossible to recreate perfectly culture as it looked centuries ago.

Indeed, most Lithuanians don't hate us. There are also some Lithuanians who don't like Poles, Russian etc as well. I read somewhere about Lithuanian politician who wanted giving Suwałki to Lithuania.

Poland and the Polish language is definitely not a threat to Lithuania. Both countries are allies, members of EU and NATO. The only threat to both is Putin.

Indeed, Germans people gave Baltic people a chance to become autonomy free from Soviets during WWII. They were the only people who can help them that time. I guess it may be one of the reasons
