I don't know, if Slavs breathed the better air and if it wasn't cold (here in Poland, it gets way too hot, sometimes), they would have looked the same as Western Europeans, I guess.

I don't know, I would probably blame bad air quality in those countries, the fact that they smoke a lot and all that stuff, which results in uneven gray skin color and freakishly pale appearance. The rare presence of sun is also a factor, I think.

There are other differences besides skin color. Eye shape, skull shape, nose shape...

If you base your idea of "eastern" phenotypes on something like humanphenotypes or the SNPA website, keep in mind that they were made by a German and a Norwegian.

From what I have seen, the typical slav has a potato, shallow facial structure, slack-jawed, recessed chin, small eye space, no cheekbones and large, bumpy round head.

What on Wykop (Polish Reddit) users say, it's "polacka morda" or "polacki ryjec", your description is accurate, actually.
Receding hairline ('zakola' in Polish) is also their complaint.

I don't care, how their faces look like, though. I think, they could change their hairstyles, like they don't have to wear fade cut or buzz cut all the time. Flow hairstyle, shag, long hair etc. could look nice on them.
