Do Poles pass easier in Western Europe than Romanians in Southern Europe?

By Southern Europe I mean Italy, Southern France, Spain and Portugal, I'll skip Greece this time because it's too close to Romania.

In Western Europe I include UK, Ireland, Northern France, Benelux countries, West Germany, Switzerland.

It happens to me continuously that I confuse many Romanians as Spanish. And I'm not talking about Romanian gypsies or especially dark ones, neither those who are at the opposite extreme in terms of light traits.

I have commented on it many times, they also learn the language very quickly, and except for something very specific when they speak, it is not easy to detect it immediately.

I doubt that in Italy pass worse than in Spain, but I better don´t opine for the Italians, because I am not Italian.

In my opinion, Poles pass worse in Spain than average Romanians.Except the only Pole who lives in my town, who seems to be a native of this area.

I also have to say that I am more used to seeing Romanians than Poles.

I guess by Southerners he means the mediterranean part of southern Europe, from Greece to Portugal.

As far as you count austria and Germany in western Europe then the answer is yes, poles pass easier in western Europe than Romanians in south, as far as both austria and Germany, the latter especially in southern and eastern provinces, have slavic influence.
