They were very open to processing people like robots. There were booklets and guidelines for how to raise kids, what to believe, what to value etc.
And they were very open to immorality. Soviet decriminalized homosexuality in 1917, decades before many other countries. Yes it is true that under Stalin Soviet Union become along with USA the most powerful country in the world. But you know perfectly the indescribable suffering that the Soviet people had to undergo. Maybe it was inevitable, i tend to believe this, but it is not something that you can be proud.
