A South African Boer is also considered African. They're literally called Afrikaners these days.
They're also much closer to me genetically than many of the people in my town, who are Turkish immigrants or actual negroes.
Your birthplace, in 2020, does not matter much. As you see, not even the continent does.

I can become a muslim any time, as long as I speak the following words: "Ash Shadoo an La ilaha illa Allah, Wa Ash Shadoo ana Muhammadan rasoolu Allah." ...
... and understand their meaning.
The same goes for Afrikaners.
Islam is a religion, not a race.
Religions change, borders change, DNA remains.

I didn't say they would reunited, but that they were different denominations of the same religion. As far as I know, it is legal to marry a Christian from a different denomination (as opposed to marriage to a non-Christian, which is not biblically ordained). Whether any church would consider it legal to marry a JW, I don't know but probably not.

Blood is the most important, but living day after day with person whose world's view differs alot from your own just will not work.
Religion at such is important too (giving often basic values and morals to ones everyday life), and not even that. If religion means alot to other person (practising etc.) and another opposite not, it can become problem longer run.
