Nowadays the USA must be near 50% of whites (counting real hispanics whites) taking into account the last census was almost ten years ago and that many MENAS are counted as white.

We'll have to wait for next census, but no, I really doubt the white population is down over 10%. MENAs make up like 1% of the American population, and unlike in Europe, most of them are Levantine or Armenian Christians who are basically white and assimilated into the local society where they settled.

Not sure about the others, but all genetic studies are showing Brazilian self-identification isn't very inaccurate. Your experience with retarded/whitewasher Brazilians on anthroforums (that I know has been shitty with idiots claiming all types of absurds and that's why you like to troll Brazil) doesn't reflect Brazilian society. If Brazilian census said Brazil is like 80% white as the Puerto Rican and other countries self-identification then I'd agree with you. But it's far from the truth and even if the census doesn't reflect exactly the number of white or white-leaning looking people in Brazil it is certainly close to what genetic studies are showing.

Genetic studies show that around 45% of Brazilians are above 80% European, so the true number of ''whites'' (phenotypically) in Brazil is probably around 35-40% (considering that not everyone who is above 80% Euro look white). Brazilian census says around 45% of Brazilians identify as ''white'', so it does give a good general picture.

I met several white Brazilians in Boston, MA, when I lived there (there is a huge diaspora of southern and south eastern Brazilians living in Boston) and many of the white ones (not all Brazilians living in Boston are white, but a large percentage of them are) look very European, with good numbers of them being even able to easily blend in among white Anglos. And they had good shares of blondish hair tones and light eyes.

I doubt if it is a census problem (doesn't exist a mestizo or mulatto category) or just they are not sincere.

Curiously puertoricans are much more sincere about their race in the USA ('only' 40-45% considear themselves white) than in the island (75-80%)

I don't know to which extent it is their fault, though. My Brazilian uncle (who obviously is twice as Black as me) went to live in America and when he was filling his papers once he got American citizenship, he was to told to check the White box. He laughed and said: "But I am Black". Thinking they were joking or something. However, they would still insist on him checking White, so at the end, he did. I guess this is common practice in the US. Maybe they do so to have fewer people applying for jobs using racial quotas. A way to lure Blacks from other countries into not using the system in their favor.

Average white Brazilians look like common Southern Euros, they usually don't look exotic for this particular region of Europe they most resemble.
Most white people I usually see on the streets look very standard for their ancestry, it's a myth that white Brazilians/Latinos are exotic looking on average. But it's also true that some exotic Southern European looks might not be perceived as "white" here.

Great novela. By the way, I still think some of the actors that played Moroccan characters can pass as their lighter stock, but obviously not as typical ones.
Stênio Garcia, by the way, played an Egyptian character that lived in Fez, Morocco, he is Mestizo, so I think he fits perfectly in a typical Moroccan crowd.

northeast: 28,4% self-declare white
north: 24,4% self-declare white

Total country average: 46,4% self-declare white.
