There are some historical links between ancient Britain and ancient Israel. Mainly involving tin mining in Cornwall etc.

What's interesting is that most Jews score high W. Asian/Near Eastern--yet, so many take on a more 'European' like phenotype. I wonder if DNA is actually picking up on the possible Celtic/Near Eastern component - that may better help explain this phenomenon... Obviously, this is highly speculative.
