We have the Eddas and traditions survived in the folklore of Germanic countries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Hunt

They did have writing to record their traditions though. The whole Europe had access to writing since Minoan times.

I don't like Santa Claus, he is like a Christmas clown to me.

Anyway we don't have him, in my country Christmas gifts are brought by Baby Jesus.

I always found pagan/ancient traditions more interesting than commercialized holidays. Back then, you had rich lore/story-telling and strong cultural traditions that should be enjoyed for the rich experiences it brings; rather than putting a price on everything which is the societal norm in today's society. Too much materialism and cultureless, globalized commodities merely regresses these tangible experiences to petty egoism and degenerated values.
“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”

The germanocentric world you live in is very distorted. Saint Nicholaos was GREEK, and nothing else. Fuck your odin, and your insignificant mythology. It all perished, and it got replaced by Saint Nicholaos whos name in your language has become Santa Claus

Yes, he was Greek, but where do you think all the traditions associated with him came from? Do you think Nicholas traveled around distributing gifts on a flying sled accompanied by elfs in the winter solstice? Your post was so stupid that i suppose you didn't even read the thread, but it's not surprising as everything you post is retarded.

The traditions surrounding the Father Christmas date back to the 16th century, dumbass. Instead of caring about us, worry about fixing your decadent low-IQ people.
