It's my concept. I came up with the term after studying habits of the nations periphery to and desiring to be incorporated into the European or at the least, Western civilization historical realm. It manifests many ways, from cherry pick photos, to lying about ancestry, to screaming political affiliations, to picking a Historical character, EVEN A LOSER for eg Jugurtha or Hannibal, just to demonstrate his ancestors relevance to the West. No shame in the fact that say Jugurtha was brought to Rome in chains, according to the Romans...he will be proud that this chained man, was chained up by a Ceaser more than he will be proud of Tariq ibn Ziyad who was a Winner, but he prayed and fasted Ramadan etc. etc.

I listed from most to least, the populations it's most rampant of this yearning... this dilemma.

I may be wrong. But there used to be Turkish users very proud of their steppic Asian origins: Manzikert, Siyendi.
Even Itilvolga never denied being Asian.

Ryujin is certainly the most Euro-leaning. But he may have his own reasons to feel more connected to Europe and the western world (he studied American literature if I'm not wrong).

Exactly. If one landmark could symbolize Turkey in a nutshell, it would be the Bosphorus Bridge, rather than Ayasofya or Sultan Ahmed mosque. Turkey is not only a natural bridge between two continents, but between two cultures.
Turks are one of the most heterogeneous peoples of Eurasia, and possibly of the entire world. It's funny that many members admit that Russia can have two identities at the same time, European and Asian, Slavic and Ural-Altaic, but deny the Turks that same right (exclusively Asian).

The sense of the thread is biased, shitty and nonsense.
Brazilian, Argentinian, Colombian and Caribbean Hispanic are not ethnicities, they are only nationalities.
They are too diverse to consider themselves as "ethnicities".
They don't even have an average or that "average" is not the most typical face.

Brazilians are diverse, but some faces are more common than others. People like Neymar, MC Livinho, Thiago Rodrigues, Isabelle Drummond (first two being pardos, second two being meds), etc., are way more common than Rodrigo Hilbert and Xuxa.

The problem on these forums, regarding Brazil, is that foreigners have a distorted/caricat view of this country.

If you don't represent this country as place where most people look like Pelé and where African culture/genes are dominant, you're accusing as having OWD, even by people who never set foot here, and it's funny that these same people don't like when us "cucarachas" talk about their countries, but they can distorte ours based on stereotypes.
