Only more or less real option is reunification of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Ukraine would sooner unite with Poland than Russia at this point. Not sure about Belarus, but non-Commie elements in Belarus = patriotic elements, are generally pro-Polish. When I was in high school we had a lecture at school by one Belarusian member of anti-Lukashenko opposition and he talked about common history, possible restoration of the Rzeczpospolita, etc.

I do not suggest anything, all countries are free to do as they like. If Bulgaria wants to move closer to Russia, it is her right. I was just stating a fact, which is, that in current political climate, those troop are there because Russia.
