Sikeliot's post are better in terms of individual variation.
Crazybutterly better at posting crowd photos which shows a more objectivity.

I have crowd photos also. The thing is, she is choosing photos in bright lighting where it is easier to gauge coloring but not the features. I think my photos have better lighting.

Either way, Sicilians are close genetically to Ashkenazim and are related to other South Euros and to Mesopotamians/Levantines, so this is what should show in their phenotypes and in my opinion, it does.

The better lightening AND natural is always the exterior one under TRUE light (sun or cloudy) and the best and accurate way to classify.
Just look at the Coon's plates, most of them were taken on the outside, just because artificial light and front one eliminate the overall contrast and deform features perception etc.

In the sun is not good because people squint and whatnot. What is good is under good camera flash.

I do see overlap with Italian Americans. Anyway, most Southern Europeans here will not admit to there being resemblance with Lebanese even if true.

I would argue that Sicilians *might* overlap somewhat more with Armenians rather than Lebanese, but I didn't initially think this.

Armenians have better overlap with Balkans than with Sicilians but Lebanese probadly have the best overlap with Sicilians, Sardinians and some regions of Greece probadly.

Of course Lebanese overlap more with Syrians, Jordanians, Eastern Turks, Assyrians, Iraqis than anything else.
