Crazy consumerism/capitalism also isn't good. I can see people crying on Facebook about how bored they are because they can't go to stores or nail salons.
Capitalism breeds materialistic hedonism which kills your soul/spirituality and turns you into a machine.

By the way, life in 70s and 80s Russia was epic I heard. Even the CIA data says USSR surpassed USA in production in many items (wheat, beef etc.)

Dunno where you get your info, but it's contrary to reality.
"During the 1960s and 1970s, the Communist Party elite rapidly gained wealth and power while millions of average Soviet citizens faced starvation. The Soviet Union’s push to industrialize at any cost resulted in frequent shortages of food and consumer goods. Bread lines were common throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Soviet citizens often did not have access to basic needs, such as clothing or shoes."

"Breadlines" were about getting a name-brand rare commodity that wasn't available elsewhere. Food was abundant but variety sucked. Source? My parents.

Communism is extremely retarded but I think that radical libertarian views can possibly do the same harm, personally I am for the free market but with minimal yet necessary regulations in some aspects
