But that is bullshit because Mongoloid features simply did not yet exist 24,000 years ago. They evolved only later. Even the native Ainu of Japan are Europid, as John R. Baker in "Race" described them:



Although they can also be counted as relatively gracile Australoids, in my opinion. Especially considering, that genetically the Ainu are much closer to Australoid Papuans than to Europeans.

The same cultural border as between Celts and Germanics. The one between Romance and Germanic is a bit more Southern, though, even if during Caesar's era already some Germanics also were present across the Rhine (the Eburones in what is today's Limburg).
The Celts here were also very heavily Germanic-influenced and more warlike. Interestingly, we are the farthest from warlike today as a people.

I guess with expanding into foreign lands, people often stop once they've conquered that one culture and stop at the border of another culture. Hence the cultural borders are very resilient, even if the cultures change.
