    Default Italian dialects database

There's a site I found that has a database of dozens of recordings of various Italian dialects and sub-dialects from most regions, except Abruzzo, Lazio, Emilia-Romagna, and Marche. They also feature minority languages like Franco-Provencal, Arbereshe, Griko, Gallo-Sicilian, Walser, Cimbric, Slovenian, etc.

Yes, was surprised that they had some of the rarer ones like Walser and Molisano-Croatian along with the others.

My full admiration for the Germans regarding Romance linguistics in the last two centuries. They've always shown much more interest for it than many local institutions.

Glad to see Algherese Catalan in there.

Local institutions fear the spread of indipendentism, I guess.

This map created by blogger Sima Brankov is highly questionable for some choices.

Da notare che il blogger (che sarà serbo o sloveno, comunque di quelle parti) ha fatto sparire il friulano.
