What car do you drive?

Those are lovely. Always wanted to buy a 109 6.3 but Ive got 2 W126s already... One SE and one SEC.
My job is about gasoline engine diagnostics, fuel and ignition system repairs on old cars (L-K-KE-D-LH jetronic, carbs, BOSCH mechanical injection pumps etc) so I get to work on a lot of 108-109s.

Wow, that’s interesting. Mine is a w109015, so still with the old M189 and a nice mechanical Bosch injection pump with 6 pump cylinders.

Thats probably the best option. Those injection pumps run forever if nobody tries to “rebuild them”. All you need is to adjust ignition timing, idle mixture and the throttle linkage properly.

I love my job. We are the only shop in Hungary that does stuff like this. I wouldnt really want to do anything else.
