Its not the snow here , it is the fucking wind blowing trough lowlands.
Wind is the ultimate enemy, cold temperature is not.

Uh, no Zagreb today, all roads from coast to mainland are closed due to snow, ice and orcanic winds. It was winding around 130kmh last few days in Kvarner. Zagreb, next time

Apple tree, my grandfather seeded 40 years ago, today just was cut by wind like a butter and fell in my yard.
I am very sad.

I am sad four your tree, I know how close you can feel to some of them

My uncle living outside Karlovac has many trees in his garden too, hopefully they will survive bitter cold and winds.

It was one of the best apples i ate. Sweet but with dose of bitter taste. Snow is fine, but winds are unbearable. Specially here where there are no Mountains to shield us.

I like center of Zagreb and I like how much is happening there and also prices in restaurants and bars

But I don't like other parts that much because they are not cohesive, not planned. It looks like everything was allowed to be build with no regulations. Some houses are too big but they are not completely built. Waste of money. But still Zagreb it's not bad. I feel generally very safe when I'm there and it has relaxed atmosphere.
