Personally I am more interested in creating human-animal hybrids. I'd like to see if it is possible to create a half-human, half-grizzly bear.

They are going to be the ones at the forefront of this technology, they will be strong and masculine if they want to be. http://www.bbc.com/future/story/2016...ic-enhancement

The Chinese doctor that gene edited those kids was BS, but China is heavily researching how to improve IQ. Steve Hsu worked in China for 10 years or so on such projects and regularly blogs about the progress at infoproc.blogspot.com. There is also a lot of data on Chinese peoples attitude to Eugenics and it is a lot more positive than westerners. I will try and find the surveys and post them.

Many people just don't grasp that this isn't the future any more, this technology is here right now. A bit like the more well publicized phenomenom, that is the self driving car.

    Embryo selection does just that:

Lets say you have 20 children, they are all babies, and you just select the top 3 of those babies to keep and kill the rest. That is basically what ES is analogous to, except you are only dealing with zygotes. They are all your children with no foreign genes, just your best potential children.

Nah. Even muscular Chinese men like Bruce and Brandon Lee still don't quite cut it somehow.

Ah I see, honestly Idk. I still don't think I would be up for that. I am too spiritual/religious whatever you want to call it. I believe every child is a gift who is meant to be born, will be born.

I'd like to create a grizzly bear that nevertheless has human emotions and thought, so it can be docile and cuddly.

I'm not interested in playing God, so eugenics is off the table for me.
