What do you mean by brown eyes? there is a sharp difference between brown eyes and olive/hazel green eyes:

The concept of "hazel-eyes" doesn't really exist in Germany. In fact I first heard about this term in these forums and maybe in English Wikipedia articles. So I can't really estimate the amount of hazel-eyes here.
If you describe the first picture as hazel than I would probably include it in the brown eyes number.

For istance my mother's eyes, i think they are light brown, sharply different from hazel (like mine).
