Paradoxically it has been the Anglos themselves who have extended the topic that Anglo cuisine is disgusting. Which is very far from reality. Anglo cuisine may be more or less liked, but at least it can be eaten, unlike many Asian or even Mexican cuisines, which often use ingredients as disgusting as insects.

Certainly the great fault of Anglo cuisine is its sometimes monotonous flavors, somewhat tasteless; Anglos themselves know it and that is why the use of a large amount of condiments of Asian origin, such as curry, as well as very elaborated sauces such as Perrins, Worcestershire or the famous ketchup, proliferates among them.

Apart from this problem, on the other hand easily solvable, Anglo cuisine usually boasts high quality products. Its cheeses and butter are world famous (well deserved), beef and sheep are also very famous, and also have the best beers in the world.

I don't know how you guys keep it in. I'll just buy European.

Australian chocolate is pretty bad too. Far too sweet. (Cadbury is the popular brand but it doesn't taste like British cadbury). From Britain I like Wispa, Lion Bars, Yorkie and maybe others. I was excited to try a Hershey bar in NY as a kid after always reading in war magazines about US soldiers carrying them, pretty disappointing though.

    This is what I need:

Unfortunately, I am in a country where we suck at making tea as badly as the Brits suck at making coffee.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Here is my advice: If you can afford it ? Always buy European.

Lily: why would you let them use French mustard ? What's wrong with British mustard ? Give me Colman's any day of the week. We are a mustard-producing-and-thoroughly-addicted country as well but it's even better than our own mustard.

Or for the more creative types among us:

Britain's is also a mustard country:

    Mustard mustard mustard....

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Have you ever seen a british/anglo restaurant anywhere in the world? (Mcdonalds, Burger King or KFC doesn´t count)

    Me not.

And I have seen restaurants from many nationalities.

My two strongest impressions from comparing Serbian et Kiwi food..

Serbian seasoning is more forceful, Kiwi seasoning more restrained.

Serbian salads are more lively, Kiwi salads more circumspect.

    I respect both sets referenced.

But I was raised on Balkanic feed.
