How many people from modern Lower Silesia have really Silesian roots? I'm half Lower Silesian (pre-WW) and they look familiar.

Interesting question. But I think relatively little as hardly anyone speaks Silesian if this is what you're curious or considers themselves as such here. The climate is very simillar, albeit slightly warmer. I think you likely had German Lower Silesian roots as they formed the majority there, and about all of these emmigrated / got expelled.

I counted about 40-50 individuals which wouldn't stand out. So, a small minority would pass. Are these people from your region?
