One grandfather is from Puerto Plata, another one from Bahoruco, one from Duarte and another one from Peravia. That makes her half cibaen~a and half suren~a. I bet she was born in the capital. Those mixes are very common there.

Are these typical results for Dominicans and general and the average from the regions they’re coming from ? It would be interesting to compre them to Mexican, Central and South American Mestizos who score in the same range as these Dominicans. Funny how this started off as just posting about your DNA relatives. I would love for someone to compare them with Mexican, Colombian/Venezuelan, Salvadoran/Guatemalan, Peruvian/Ecuadorian and Chilean/Paraguayans who score in the same range in as these Dominicans so sweet the variation in phenotype.

Also what’s the general gene pool average for Dominican Republic in terms of how much they score on Euro/Afro/NA ancestry ? It’s like they’re the mulatto version of Mexico.

All of them pass in Brazil. Most look quite Brazilian, apart from some weird ones who look East Mediterranean even being 25-30% SSA.

I think this guy looks Argentinian, could also pass in South Italy, Cyprus, Levant etc. He looks like the Italo-Muricans Sikeliot used to post.
