No it’s because women are supposed to be chivalrous for men. They are the servants of society. Men are the warriors and builders. So women have to open doors for men, let a man take a seat, and give the man a jacket when he is cold, ect

Tbh I don’t really care. I mean it’s a sweet gesture but I don’t expect my bf to do it every time. I always open the doors for strangers just out of courtesy. It’s not necessarily a romantic thing.
Anyone who gets mad or offended by it has some issues.
